How do you accelerate and stimulate intelligent students? Give them something to challenge themselves.
The children had never heard of Tic Tac Toe (Noughts and Crosses). It was not long before the whole school had some stones and sticks and everyone was playing.
The children are starved for intellectual input. To address this we provided Chess, Backgammon, Drafts, Scrabble, Rummycub, Goblet Gobblers, Cards and more.
Most of all we spent time teaching them how to play.

Mathula is fortunate to have two teachers who can play chess. Blessed beat me twice! I hope her students go on to win the Matebeleland championships.
We delivered 20 chess sets, and only a couple of goblet gobblers. The latter were well received in the primary school and we will be delivering more. Goblet goblers is a 3D version of Tic Tac Toe. If you have not played it before, go out and buy a set - its great.
Anyone offering me chess lessons?
